This pattern was originally released on The Hook Nook Life Blog and I am so excited to be sharing this pattern now on my own blog. Like my business, this pattern grew out of my love for creating with a touch of inspiration from my Italian background.
I adore starting a project and watching it transform into a scarf or a hat that someone will then end up wearing. They will have that piece with them during some of their favorite memories and I love bringing a little bit of joy to and being a small part of that moment. I want to share my excitement for the process and the finished products with people in the hopes that they will be inspired like I have been by the incredible maker community out there.

Construction
You will knit this cowl in the round with the “right side” facing you, which is the side where the bobbles will show.
Bobble Stitch
This is a 5-stitch Bobble in garter stitch. Begin with the right side facing you and knit into the stitch where you want your bobble. Keep the stitch on the left needle, yarn over and knit into the same stitch again, yarn over and knit into the stitch one more time. You will now have 5 stitches where you previously had one. Turn the work so the wrong side is now facing you and knit the 5 bobble stitches. Turn the work so the right side is facing you and knit the first two bobble stitches together. Place this stitch back onto the left needle. As if to bind off, pass the remaining three stitches, one at a time, over the knit-together stitch and off the needle. Knit the remaining bobble stitch, returning it to the right needle. To see a video tutorial of this stitch, visit my IGTV
I hope you enjoy this pattern as much as I do!
