Hi friends! I’m Elise, the maker and designer behind Frosia Knits. All the women in my family knit, sew and crochet, so I grew up watching the magical process of creation out of simple yarn and fabric into clothing, toys and art. Frosia Knits — Frosia stemming from my Italian great-grandmother — grew out of my love for knitting, my ancestry and my life in Italy. While living in Siena, I fell in love with the people, culture and how this country awakens each of your senses with its food, architecture and language. I now live in Northern Virginia with my husband and our son, but I continue to infuse our life and my work with the passion and love of Italian life.
